Web Development and Coding Practices – This course introduces students to the fundamentals of front-end web development, focusing on how websites are structured and styled. Students will learn how to set up a development environment, select a web host, and understand the basics of coding for the web. The course emphasizes HTML as the backbone of webpages and CSS as the tool for design and styling. Students will practice creating layouts, positioning elements, and building responsive designs that work across devices. Debugging and refining CSS will also be covered, ensuring students develop both technical and problem-solving skills. By the end of the course, students will have created functional, styled webpages and developed a foundation for further study in web development.
