Design Thinking and Innovation – This course introduces students to the principles and practices of Design Thinking, a human-centered approach to problem-solving and innovation. Students will explore the mindset, methodology, and tools used to foster creativity and collaboration in tackling complex challenges. Topics include understanding the fundamentals, creating optimal conditions for innovation, planning projects, and supporting effective teamwork. Students will also develop skills in empathy, observation, and user research to gain insights into real-world problems. By the end of the semester, students will be prepared to begin the ideation and solution development phases of the Design Thinking process.
