Home Recording and Audio Production – This course introduces students to the essential skills and tools needed for home audio recording. It begins with an overview of home recording concepts, guiding students through selecting the right equipment and setting up a functional home studio. Students will learn about mixers, multitrack recording, and various microphone types and techniques. The course also covers miking instruments, capturing high-quality source sounds, and recording audio effectively. Additionally, students will explore electronic instruments, MIDI recording, and working with loops. By the end of the semester, they will be prepared to create and manage recordings using both acoustic and electronic sources.
